Add a featured image to the post by clicking the link in the bottom right of the editor view, then choosing the image from the Media Library (or uploading and choosing from there).

For longer form blog posts it’s really helpful to break up text with headings, using relevant key words and phrases which relate to the subject matter of the post, and also some images where they illustrate the subject matter in a helpful way.

Action points

It’s good to close off your post with a summary and some action points for the reader. This could be a link to a page on your site which you can create by typing some text, ideally containing some key terms, and then go back and select the text and click Insert/Edit link, then type or paste the link into the box and apply.
